A visual memory of the 2024 edition of the Festival de Cine Colombia Migrante, held in Geneva and centred on environmental and migratory justice. This edition deepened the festival’s public conversations through screenings, collective encounters, activist dialogue, community participation and reflections on territory, extraction, displacement and resistance.
The 2024 edition
Held in 2024, this edition expanded the festival’s public and political scope, bringing together cinema, debate and community activity around questions of environmental justice, migration and territory.
The programme connected screenings and conversations with broader struggles around extraction, memory, collective resistance and the defence of life, while also opening space for workshops, installations and encounters beyond the cinema room.
